Standard Terms and Conditions for Fast Lane PTY LTD Public Courses

General Terms and Conditions
  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment
  • Payment is required at the time of the booking and no less than ten business days before course commencement. Payment can be made by EFT, Cheque, Credit Card or Purchase Order (for approved customers only)
  • Notification of cancellation or booking alterations, i.e. Transfers, must be received in writing 10 or more working days prior to course commencement. In order to cancel or transfer you must advise via email to info@itls.com.au. Cancellations or transfers within 10 working days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Attendance substitution is allowed. All substitutions must be notified in writing via email to info@itls.com.au prior to course commencement.
  • Refunds will not be issued to students who fail to attend training.
  • If a student feels a course is not appropriate for them, they must advise the instructor by the end of the first day to enable transfer to an appropriate course. All materials provided by Fast Lane PTY LTD must be returned. Sitting the course beyond the first day implies commitment. Refunds will not be given in this situation but transfer to an appropriate course is allowed. A 20% transfer fee will be charged in this instance.
  • It is the responsibility of the students to ensure they meet course prerequisites as specified in Fast Lane PTY LTD course outlines.
  • Fast Lane PTY LTD reserves the right to change dates, courses and fees without notice. Fast Lane PTY LTD assumes no responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets or other expenses incurred due to course cancellations.
  • If a student leaves a course due to illness they may resit entire course within 6 months providing they bring original course materials and a doctors certificate is provided. Full payment must be settled at the time of the first course.
  • Fast Money packages or Bundled programs MUST be paid in full prior to attending any training class and MUST be completed in their entirety once commenced.
  • Courses in Australia are GST Free (Under GST ruling #GSTR 2003/1 – Supplies that are GST-Free as professional or trade courses) unless otherwise noted.
  • Fast Lane PTY LTD is not liable for the loss or theft of or damage to student's property when attending courses and/or exams.

Terms and Conditions for NetApp courses (paying by TU's)

  • Bookings are confirmed once TU's have been verified and are successfully decremented.
  • TU details are required at the time of the booking and no less than ten business days before course commencement.
  • If TU details are not provided prior to course commencement, and Fast Lane PTY LTD allow the student to attend anyway, then the customer agrees to be invoiced by Fast Lane PTY LTD for the full RRP dollar value of the training, to be paid immediately upon receipt of invoice.
  • If the TU details are provided after course attendance and Fast Lane PTY LTD allow the student to attend anyway, and the TU's are unable to be decremented due to expiry or invalid TU's etc, then the customer agrees to be invoiced by Fast Lane PTY LTD for the full RRP dollar value of the training, to be paid immediately upon receipt of invoice.
  • Refund of TU's will not be issued to students who fail to attend training.
  • If a student feels a course is not appropriate for them, they must advise the instructor by the end of the first day to enable transfer to an appropriate course. All materials provided by Fast Lane PTY LTD must be returned. Sitting the course beyond the first day implies commitment. TU Refunds will not be given in this situation but transfer to an appropriate course is allowed. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged in this instance and invoiced to the customer.
  • All other standard Fast Lane PTY LTD Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions for IBM courses

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment
  • Payment is required at the time of the booking and no less than thirty business days before course commencement. Payment can be made by EFT, Cheque, Credit Card or Purchase Order (for approved customers only)
  • Notification of cancellation or booking alterations (i.e. Transfers) must be received in writing 20 or more working days prior to course commencement. In order to cancel or transfer you must advise via email to info@itls.com.au Cancellations. Cancellations or transfers within 15-20 working days will incur a 50% fee. Cancellations or Transfers within 10-15 working days will incur a 75% fee. Cancellations or Transfers under 10 working days will incur a 100% fee.
  • If a student feels a course is not appropriate for them, they must advise the instructor by the end of the first day to enable transfer to an appropriate course. All materials provided by Fast Lane PTY LTD must be returned. Sitting the course beyond the first day implies commitment. Refunds or Ed Pack refunds will not be given in this situation but transfer to an appropriate course is allowed. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged in this instance and invoiced to the customer.
  • All other standard Fast Lane PTY LTD Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions for Private or Customised Courses

  • A "private course" means a course organised exclusively for the company purchasing the training, where course participants are restricted to those selected by the company. A private course can be held on the customers site or at Fast Lane PTY LTD’s premises.
  • In order to confirm a private or customised course booking, date and the associated resources required to run the course, payment is required at the time of accepting the Fast Lane PTY LTD quote. Payment can be made by EFT, Cheque, Credit Card or Purchase Order (for approved customers only). Please note that the course cannot be confirmed until payment is received.
  • All requests to cancel or change private course dates once confirmed, must be made in writing to Fast Lane PTY LTD no less than 20 business days prior to the commencement date of the course. Cancellations and date change requests received by Fast Lane PTY LTD less than 20 business days, but more than 10 business days prior to the start of the course, will incur a fee of 50% of the total course price. Cancellations and date change requests received less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will incur a fee of 100% of the total course price.
  • All other standard Fast Lane PTY LTD Terms and Conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions for F5, ITIL, Cisco Learning Services, VMware, CompTIA, Prince 2 (or any other 3rd party delivered course)

  • Payment is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made by EFT, Cheque, Credit Card or Purchase Order (for approved customers only)
  • Cancellations must be received in writing at least 20 working days before course commencement.
  • Cancellations received between 15-20 working days prior to course commencement will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of the fees due.
  • Cancellations received in under 15 working days of course commencement will be charged at 100% of course fees.
  • All other standard Fast Lane PTY LTD Terms and Conditions apply excluding Points 6 and 9 which are not applicable.
